Placid Creek
Near Missoula, Montana
Placid Creek flows through the Seeley-Swan valley, connecting Placid Lake to the Clearwater River system. The creek holds rainbow and brown trout, with northern pike present in lower sections near the lake. This is modest small-stream fishing in a scenic valley. The creek provides connectivity between the Chain of Lakes. Summer and fall offer the best conditions. Access is near Placid Lake State Park.
