Mizpah Creek

Mizpah Creek flows through southeastern Montana prairie country, eventually joining the Powder River. The creek holds channel catfish and possibly sauger or smallmouth bass in its lower reaches. This is warmwater prairie fishing very different from Montana's famous trout streams. Access is limited through mostly private ranch land. Spring and early summer offer the best flows before the creek drops. Mizpah Creek provides overlooked warmwater opportunity for adventurous anglers.
