Sandstone Creek

Sandstone Creek is a small prairie stream in southeastern Montana. The creek may hold channel catfish in its lower reaches. Access is challenging through private ranch land. Water levels fluctuate seasonally with spring offering the best flows. The creek provides minimal fishing opportunity compared to other Montana waters but represents the warmwater prairie stream habitat of the region.
