Otter Creek
Near Colstrip, Montana
Otter Creek flows through southeastern Montana ranch country, eventually joining the Tongue River. The creek holds channel catfish, smallmouth bass, and sauger in its lower reaches. This is prairie stream fishing through mostly private land with limited access. Spring provides the best flows before summer heat reduces water. The creek offers a different fishing experience from Montana's famous trout streams.
