East Fork Bull River
Near Libby, Montana
The East Fork Bull River flows through the Cabinet Mountains Wilderness area in northwestern Montana. The creek holds westslope cutthroat and bull trout in cold, clear mountain water. Bull trout must be released. This is remote wilderness fishing requiring effort to access but rewarding anglers with native fish and stunning scenery. Summer provides the best conditions after snowmelt. The Cabinet Mountains offer some of Montana's most rugged and least-visited wilderness.
